Up entirely too early for the Man United/Pool clash. Despite their setbacks this season, Liverpool can pull this out.

Not with this 5 in the back lineup we've put out.

Also, Carroll is starting. So there's that.

/Carlsberg don't sponsor racist teams, but if they did ...

///Almost an entire team out injured + biggest game of their season = ...
//// I love you, Paddy.

We all know Evra will be targeted by the crowed and i wouldn't be supprised if one or two Liverpool fans have to be banned due to racist comments but every one knows about that (check out some of the tweets Stan Collimore has saved Link (new window) and scroll down a little)

Its QPR and Chelski that could be very tastey as well. Terry is being prosocuted in the courts for racialy abusing Ferdinand, one of the QPR players. With the story that Ferdinand got death threats recently do you think many of the QPR players will shake Terry's hand? I would stand with Ferdinand and if he didn't shake Terry's hand i wouldn't either.

Okay, okay, okay..I'm up. Let's do this.

Sweet, de Gea is starting. Guard yer donuts.

Oh, and happy birthday Carra!

The FA, with the agreement of both teams, had cancelled the pre-match handshake. (new window)

It'll be interesting to see what happens on the pitch today now that the FA has officially come out and claimed that words are twice as bad as physical assault.

Morning, lads. Nervous about this one. Just hope everyone doesn't act like a bunch of bloody idiots today.

At least I get to wear the Liverpool shirt socalnewwaver sent me for the 1st time this morning.

Lambert has done a magical job at Norwich. I said last season that he would manage in the Premier League this season, with Norwich if they get promoted or without them if they didn't. What he has done with Holt reminds me of Kevin Philips of being taken from nowhere to the big time. I know alot of people think of him soley as a bttering ram but he does a lot more than that in the background

Free kick awarded for a foul by Jamie Mackie on Ashley Cole. Juan Mata crosses the ball from the free kick left-footed from left wing. Juan Mata takes a shot. John Terry offerers a racial slur to an opponent.

I love the new chant.

WE ONLY HATE MANCS!
WE ONLY HATE MANCS!
WE'RE NOT RACISTS, WE ONLY HATE MANCS!

2012-01-28 07:51:37 AM
If that ball had curved at all, it'd be 1-0 right now? Beautiful strike

A bit of embellishment by Maxi there... but since it's that whiny bitach Evra, I don't mind.

The transfer window is open.

In related news NUFC get their two best strikers* back because Senegal aren't going to qualify from their group.

* I've never seen Cisse play, but I HAVE seem Ameobi Snr and Best and confidently stand behind my statement

It looked like De Gea pushing the crowd from in front of his goal left him out of position

2012-01-28 08:10:23 AM
De Gea is brutal!

2012-01-28 08:11:15 AM
Nice control from Carroll, although I have a feeling that was on accident.

2012-01-28 08:11:55 AM
Carroll with a nice reception of that long ball. Shame Gerrard couldn't make anything of the following shot.

2012-01-28 08:12:54 AM
Im supposed to switch to the Chelsea match, but this united-pool one is too good to leave!

2012-01-28 08:14:25 AM
I think they just broke the sign board.

2012-01-28 08:21:42 AM
The thing I hate about this formation of Kenny's is it leaves the middle of the pitch free to basically do whatever.

2012-01-28 08:23:33 AM
Juan Mata is chelsea's POY

2012-01-28 08:23:50 AM
Letting them have too much procession here.

2012-01-28 08:25:51 AM
Inevitable.

2012-01-28 08:25:57 AM
Damn. Knew that might happen.
