"We are prepared to work with artists and ministers and activists to occupy at the Grammys so our appeal of consideration of mercy really might be heard," he said.

Is anyone supposed to care?

He's just upset that they got rid of the "Setting Back the Black Community by Decades" award. He has several on his mantle, I'm sure.

Just ignore the Grammy Awards. Any artist that wins is usually too boring to listen to.

Why hasn't 'poptart tragedy' been nominated? Now that is an oversight.

Jesse = racist piece of shiat.

Ah, I see, they eliminate some of the categories for music specific to certain cultures and so they must be racist.

For the 25th straight year, I am boycotting the Grammy awards to protest the lack of Slovakian rap group being recognized.

I'm sure Eddie Murphy has the time to accept the award for Jesse.

Wait...

We need a reason to boycott the Grammys other than SOPA?

I guess it's much harder for someone like him to earn a living when we have a black president.

If we don't add back the categories, Tia Carrere will never win her third Grammy! How can we live in such a world?

Who gives a shiat? Jesse is by far the least talented of the Jacksons. FFS, Tito can write a better song. TIto.

Clearly a major problem facing race-relations in this country is the complete exclusion of blacks from the music industry.

/I can't think of any famous black musicians. Not a one.
//I think it's safe to say the civil rights crusade has achieved its goals. Disband?

Systemic racism is dead. There's idiosyncratic racism, but you're not solving that with racial quotas. Simple protests & negative pub will dispense with any individual racist farkwits out there.

There's no reason for things like affirmative action. All it does is to reinforce idiosyncratic racism since the systemic issues that are directly tied to racism are pretty much gone.

There are socioeconomic issues that are seriously problematic, but those cut across racial boundaries. Nothing the race baiters do will change the fact that they are dinosaurs.

Whatever else you say, he's an ordained Baptist minister, hence in writing Reverend is his formal title (but he would be addressed as Brother by fellow Baptists).

I have never seen him refer to himself as Dr. or anyone referring to him as Dr. He does have a Masters in Divinity though.

A minister who fathers children out of wedlock and threatens to cut the nuts off of the President? And he STILL calls himself minister?

Whatever. The Grammys are irrelevant. They give music awards to people who cannot sing or play an instrument. Many of whom are black.

I'm sure you'd have the same response if Rush Limbaugh referred to Atlanta as "Negrila City" right? Right.
