My mom works at McGhee Tyson Airport in Alcoa. One day in Octover 2010, Chester was selling "Prayers for Lucas" shirts and she bought one, then gave it to me. They have a Bible verse on the back as well as the address to his Facebook page.

Here's his status from Wednesday:
I went to see my cardiologist today. I received a bit of good news in that the hole I'm my heart had closed up. However I received some really bad news. I have chronic mitral valve regurgitation. It will progressively get worse and will lead to heart failure. They are keeping a close watch on it now. Open heart surgery to repair the valve is an option later but there is a lot of complications that I would face including not surviving the surgery. The doctor also noted that my liver had swollen to almost twice the size it was when he last checked it. I also have to give extra care to my teeth now. If I get a bacterial infection from my teeth it can cause an infection in my heart that can complicate my heart condition and cause heart failure.
