All they did was offer money in return for favorable policies. You were welcome to do the same thing (whatever job is it is you do), but your industry decided not to offer bribes. Now you're on the outside, looking in, and hating on wall street for making a good go of it. The politics of envy, right here on fark.

It's so weird that this coincided with a loosening of restrictions that caused a financial shiatstorm and that those same contributors were given a government bailout to protect them from that shiatstorm.

Perhaps if we loosen regulations on that industry they will have the freedom to do what is right. If that doesn't work we might have to lower taxes.
