Hey Joseph - You suck.

Meh, he's an actor. His singing is ok, not great, but

don't worry if it's not good enough for anyone else to hear.

Is that the Nirvana cover he does (can't click, at work)? 'Cause that is amusingly good.

/think it was Lithium...

Nah. Joseph Gordon-Levitt's singing is pretty standard open-mic-night fair. Shatner's singing belongs in a museum of modern art.

Shut your whore mouth, article writer! Maybe he's not a great singer, but at least he appears to have a sense of humor.

I've had This (new window) in my head all week.

Never trust a dude with two first names.

I've always really wanted to punch this guy.

That eyebrow thing.
The constant pulling his long hair behind his ears (3rd rock from the sun)
Hyphenated last name.

And like herpes he just doesn't seem to go away.

That sums up my feelings. It was very shaky but not outright terrible. Shatner's Rocket Man is in a class all by itself.

I agree with the article writer - it wouldn't have been so bad if he didn't look so earnest while he was singing. He looked halfway between a shart and a full on loaf pinch.

He's better doing this (new window)

It's not him it's the song.

rubbish, and completely over played.

How dare he try to have a good time.

What a selfish ass farker.

There's only one cover of "Hey Jude": THIS ONE

/points if you know who's playing guitar (without peaking).

Shatner doesn't sing a song, he performs it. He explores it, like an actor working a stage, looking for nuances and new delivery in the material.

/rock-it, man!

My favorite cover of Rocket man will always be the one done by puscifer, Maynard does a pretty good job imo

Shatner is the better actor of the two.
