Except fo that one time 350 years ago when he chopped the King's head off and proclaimed a Commonwealth.

Stephen Hester has one of the most hateful, punchable faces I've ever seen.

That slogan, "tax the rich" could easily be replaced by one more prejudicial...

We've spent anywhere between £9bn and £12bn on the Olympics, an event that makes absolutely no money for anyone that puts it on. We'll get a bit back in the TV rights and sales of some properties, but in the end, we're going to lose £5-6bn minimum. Then I could mention the £7bn being pissed away on Eurofighter, a cold war plane. Or the £20-odd billion about to be spent on HS2. Or the £8bn wasted on the NHS IT system that didn't work.

Oh, but let's worry about £1m instead.
