After the assload of picks the Browns got for trading their number 6 pick to Atlanta (which became Julio Jones) the Vikings would be stupid not to try something similar.

So don't try to protect your young QB or insure that AP will have a quality tackle to run behind so you can pay him to watch in streetclothes? Brilliant move, Zigy.

/Not to mention Hutch is running on empty and Loadholt isn't worth the bus ticket out of town

Trade down or draft Kalil for the LOVE OF GOD!

How is this fail? The Patriots do this every year. They try to trade every pick. If they don't get an offer they like, they take the best player available. If the Vikes can trade out of the spot and get half an Oline, why not?

Now, If the Vikes trade the pick for peanuts, then it is a fail.

Will their strategy include drafting fifth without trading down?

Wait, so we're mocking the Vikings for not listening to an online poll?

I mean, there are a lot of reasons to mock the Vikings. I don't think this is one of them.

When did they trade a top three pick since Brady became the starter.

I had a response to this.

Then I forgot to give it in enough time.

Everything important in football, outside of quarterback leadership, happens on the offensive and defensive lines, but very few teams actually draft that way.

I think so zerkalo, but where are we going to find rubber pants our size?

Mostly. Sure, if you skimp too much on linemen, nothing works at all. But WCO can compensate for a weak O-line somewhat and the 3-4 was conceived largely because there just aren't enough quality DEs to go around. Teams have innovated around the need for quality lines because not every line can be the best in the league.

That said, anything you can do with a WCO on offense or 3-4 on defense, you can do better with quality linemen.

If the Vikings can get significant value for pick in a trade that is greater than Kali or he is no longer available go for it.

I think so, Zerkalo, but if they called them sad meals, nobody would buy them.

A trade during the NFL draft? I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

Well, whoever the Vikings pick, I hope he can handle the Los Angeles traffic.

NFL has already said LA is off the table. This whole stadium debacle here is really getting annoying. The Metrodome site is a horrible location. The parking situation sucks. Honestly the best site for this is the Arden Hills location so they can build a nice parking lot for real tail gating... clean up the old munitions plant, as this land is going to sit empty forever otherwise... and leave the stadium within a drunken bicycle ride or more likely show shoeing from my house...
