Anyone who watched that much of the GOP debates deserves to go to the special hell.

Hey now! I think I've seen all but two. But after last night? Wowee. Now they're just collectively doing damage to the GOPs chances. If I didn't know any of them going into the debate I'd conclude Ron Paul is a nice old man and the other three should be launched into the sun.
The discussion after the God question could have made the Pope turn atheist.

I don't get it. The only Republican I remember from F&G is Cindy Sanders.

I wouldn't expect someone who doesn't know the difference between "retarded' and "retardant" to understand Arrested Development

Mark my words: Eventually debates are going to be a year-round series. One of the all news channels will make this happen. Unofficial campaigning begins the day after a Presidential election anyway, why not formalize it with debates?
They'll start doing it like Survivor or Idol - 12 or 13 "episodes" a couple times a year. It won't really matter if it's the first year of a term: throw those suits up on a stage and let them yell at each other for an hour and a half.

The BBC already does this in the UK, but with different cabinet members and other public figures.
It's enjoyable, substantive, and interactive (they take audience and submitted questions). Why can't the US do it?

Yeah, who'd have thought he'd go from dressing in drag with Peter Scolari to winning an Oscar for acting with a painted football? Amazing career.

I don't want to live on this planet any more.
(Though seriously, real political debates have a place, and should be televised. They should NOT be a fiesta of talking points, pandering, and douchebaggery. Then again, I have no problem with people seeing the madness the Republican party has arrived at.)

Who cares? These losers just debate the same shiat over and over again, the same psychopaths in the audience cheer whenever sick people die or gay soldiers talk.
The best part is that
Newt-farking-Gingrinch
is emerging as some sort of front runner because of them. If that is not a sign of how overplayed they are, I don't know what ain't.
