Ive watched a few of them but aside from a few snide remarks hear and there they are saying the same thing in different ways.

Mark my words: Eventually debates are going to be a year-round series. One of the all news channels will make this happen. Unofficial campaigning begins the day after a Presidential election anyway, why not formalize it with debates?

They'll start doing it like Survivor or Idol - 12 or 13 "episodes" a couple times a year. It won't really matter if it's the first year of a term: throw those suits up on a stage and let them yell at each other for an hour and a half.

My days of not taking the debates seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

I liked what Obama said when asked whether or not he was following the Republican race and the debates: "I'm going to wait until everyone is voted off the island."

The Republican debates are more entertaining, I thought everyone loved a good comedy.

I made a comment about this on facebook, and mentioned Arrested Development specifically, and a friend replied with "At least Arrested Development waited until the 3rd season to introduce a retarded character."
