Build wise, you'll never find an easier car to replace/repair components.

Wasn't aware of their transmission recalls, or their questionable safety standards.

(Good thing I was never planning to buy one to begin with.)

What's this particular car's drivetrain and powerplant? I know there were many considered for the next NSX; does this one have the production-planned awd gas/electric hybrid? Or is it the concept that's been modified to have no roof, and the hydrogen/electric hybrid system? If it really is a one-off concept with e rare drivetrain, it could fetch a pretty large sum on the collector market; doubt it'd hit 9 mil.

These things happen. But that's also why the recall system is there. Although I'm curious how many(if any) deaths there were to over-pressurized inflators sending shrapnel at a driver.

As for the transmission recall, are you referring to the software update recently released? If so, then it's not much to worry about. It's a PCM update to change the way a transmission operates at certain conditions. Specifically when constantly switching between drive and reverse, like trying to get out of a pile of snow. The update just prevents the driver from overheating the unit and causing a part failure.
