Damn skippy she is. And I just added one more entry to my bucket list. I don't care where or when I have to go, I MUST see that for myself.

I spent half of Dec and Jan in the Russian Arctic one year. Never got to see it. Left disappointed Will go back again, but next time it will be during June to experience the White Nights. Plus, it's too farkin cold there in winter..

The Aurora Borealis? At this time of year? At this time of day? In this part of the country? Localized entirely within your kitchen?

Seeing these with my own eyes has been on my bucket list for years. I just hope that I can actually see them at some point.

I agree with you guys about wanting to see it with your eyeballs, even at 1080p, etc, it just isn't the same. I too, so want to see this cosmic light show of high energy particles from the sun lighting up our life-saving magnetic field! :-)
