Uh kids, the lesson to be learned here should be obvious...don't post the photos in your own name. Post it to an anonymous Flickr acct and then have all the class members point to it on their Facebook pages. Mission accomplished.

Geesh...I'm almost 60 years old. I shouldn't have to point these things out to you.

Pfft. Like the students were going to learn anything from an Oklahoma substitute teacher anyway.

For people using the argument "what if a student called 9-1-1 on a cell phone to save someone's life!?" Aren't there usually land-line phones in public schools? Y'know, those big bulky things with keys like a cell phone but are usually wired to a desk or stuck to a wall?

As far as I know, land-line phones cut 9-1-1 response times by a matter of minutes because there is no delay in tracking the specific location of the call. So even if they had cell phones, the BETTER option would be to use a land-line. That is one of the reasons Sean Taylor died, lost too much blood waiting for responders because the call was placed from a cell phone.

/I could be totally wrong

lennavan: ExcaliburPrime111: I'll even go a step further and say anyone defending suspending the student is de facto trolling.

Wait, your argument is so weak, you have to pre-label your opposition as trolls? Wow.

How about you keep your goddamn filthy paws off that person's private property, and discipline your worthless excuse for a teacher, you pasty-faced unionized cockbags?

Genta: you walked to school through the snow and it was uphill both directions? how does this happen? does your house gain altitude during the day, and then lower itself when you're sleeping?

I'm guessing you never heard the joke about a chicken crossing the road.
