FTFA: Waynesburg police tell the Observer-Reporter newspaper of Washington, Pa. that surveillance video strongly suggests the woman who robbed the First National Bank about 5 p.m. on Friday has no teeth and wasn't wearing dentures at the time.

Police Chief Tim Hawfield tells the newspaper "her lower face appears to be collapsed on itself."

Is this for real? Are we finally at a point in our cultural history where people are not used to seeing old folks without their teeth? Of course her lower face appears to be collapsed on itself. That's what completely toothless people look like when they're not wearing dentures. You've never seen that before? You don't ever remember seeing Granny when she had her dentures soaking in the glass of Polident? Really?

/It's funny to see it described in such clinical terms.
