The most eccentric and conspiracy gullible of my friends was (and probably still is) convinced that all electronics were going to stop working when these flares reached us. He was saying things like "Seriously, what are you gonna do when nothing at all works and the food supply is running out?".

I remain unworried.
He is one of the best people I know and by far one of the most interesting; you can diss him as he's saying these things and he takes it in stride.

I missed the show where I am in the UK - too damn cloudy.

Not happy!

However, I made up for it by smoking some skunk that is named 'Northern Lights'... so all is good.
