That fatty could still fail the physical.

While that is a shiatload of money and a lot of years, it's a Mike Ilitch kind of move to pick up Cecil's son, I think.

It makes a certain amount of sense. He was the biggest name, and they needed that bat. He also has a kind of history in Detroit & the Tigers, which makes it a natural fit in the Ilitch organization.

And as screwed up as Cecil was post-Tigers, the whole reconciliation aspect (if/when that should happen with Prince Fielder)... that's just too good a story. Of course, if Cecil blows it & mangles what's left of his relationship with his son, then that would be a huge negative for the org.

Detroit is maybe the place that makes both the most and the least sense for Prince Fielder to go to because of the Cecil thing. And unless Miggy falls off the wagon again, the lineup should be fun to watch unless you are an opposing pitcher.

what's odd about the female anchors on ESPN, is if they are wearing pants, they frame the anchor to where her crotch is just in hte frame. not the field shots. just the studio stuff.

if they're wearing a skirt, they'll typically go full-body shot.

but linda cohn specifically, but also with others, if they have pants, you watch, their crotch is the bottom of the frame. whereas with guys, they don't do that.

it is a werid thing i noticed. like once Cohn had like, tight-ish pants on, and i'm like "why is ESPN going out of their way to show her mound?"
