Yay Melissa McCarthy!! I don't think the film was Oscar worthy, but she was fun to watch. I really like her, I hope this opens some doors for her.

I saw it last night with the wife. She cried the whole way through. You have the plot basically wrong, but the actors are right.

Tom Hanks (DING!) dies in 9/11 (DING!) who's son is somewhere on the spectrum (DING!). Tom never met his father (DING!) but he shows up and is a mute (mrgsfsfffff).

It was an OK movie overall, despite the room full of weepy housewives. Max Von Sydow should win the supporting actor role, though. His character is completely silent during the entire film, and he is brilliant at it.

I thought Jonah Hill was really good in his role in Moneyball. You wanted a fat awkward economist thrown into the baseball world, and by God did Jonah Hill deliver.

That said, he is even less funny now that he's skinny.

Apos: While I realize that Peter Brandt was an integral part of this saga,it's difficult to fathom that Hill was a decent enough Peter Brandt to merit this.
