It's nice to know that Jay isn't disinterested and pouting when he's on the sideline. He makes that same stupid face off the field too.

He prob should have checked down and slipped it to her tight end instead. He wouldn't have needed any protection at all.

This pretty much ensures she'll never have to work again.

What do I mean, "again"?

This shouldn't be unexpected. I mean, it's not like Cutler ever has protection.

I don't know, I think farking Jay Cutler would automatically make her the female Mike Rowe. He looks like the kinda guy who does just enough muff diving to get by, then flips on his back and lets her do all the work.

Cutler was having a pretty good year this year before he got hurt. Now Caleb Hanie, there's a bad quarterback.

Bears should have rolled the dice on McNabb keeping them afloat and hoped Cutler could come back for the playoffs.

IAmRight: 13 TDs in 10 games - legend!

Their line is bad, their receivers are really bad, and their tight ends don't catch passes. I'm not saying he should go to the pro bowl, but he had 13TD/7Int and the guys who replaced him 5/13. If he doesn't get hurt they win 10 or 11 games and make the playoffs.

Cutler's completions aren't accidents so much as they are surprises. The amount of passes that bounced off Roy Williams' hands alone would have made him one of the top receivers in the league.

So he was probably surprised when Cavallari made a different kind of reception also.

Nah, that was Roy Williams. Johnny Knox was supposed to go to the Walgreens a few blocks away to get them but ran the wrong route and never made it.

I know that most people are sort of blinded by the awesomeness that is the Rodgers/Tebow/Brady/Tebow/Brees/Stafford/Tebow show, but once you get beyond talking heads of ESPN, Cutler was quietly having a top 10 QB year (granted not legendary, and not top 5), especially considering that he got hurt right as they were entering the weakest part of the Bears schedule.

The system Martz runs is too complicated to pick up quickly so McNabb would have been playing with a very limited playbook. Plus, he has been GODfarkINGAWFUL for 2 or 3 years now. Why would that change all of a sudden?

Don't bother arguing with him. Cutler could throw for 5000 yards, 40 TDs, 5 INTs and the Bears could go 16-0 and IAmRight would still try to argue Cutler sucks.

McNabb was still very good his last season with the Eagles, despite what most of their fans would tell you, and even on the Skins and Vikings he was closer to average than awful. Those just weren't good teams. He's still got a strong arm. And who else are you going to pick up in the middle of the season, Favre? I mean, ideally the Bears should have had a backup who wasn't unbelievably incompetent but they missed that boat. Being better than Caleb Hanie is not a high hurdle to clear. There are probably 50 or 60 quarterbacks in the NFL better than Hanie.

You know how I know you didn't watch the second half of McNabb's season in Washington? You take away one good game early against Philly, and he aspired to average, at best. His QB rating for the season was an anemic 77.1, ranking him soundly below Kyle Orton, John Kitna, and Jason farking Campbell for that season.

As much as Chicago fans were not happy with Cutler going down, few of us thought Caleb would be as bad as he turned out to be over a 6-game stretch.

Jay Cutler and Matt Forte were the things keeping that awful OL and WR group looking like an NFL-worthy offense.

He would have been good enough to beat the rest of the AFC West if the Chargers hadn't hurt him in a game they had already lost. So, there is that.

Before Cutler got hurt, the only AFC West team that I thought could beat the Bears was the Raiders in Oakland (mostly because the Bears always seem to lose in Oakland). The sad thing is that without some very fluke plays, the Bears probably could have beaten the Chiefs and Broncos without Cutler.

/the Packers losing to the Giants was no accident
