A 25-year-old Snellville man wound up in jail after refusing to leave a party at which he was no longer welcome.

Gwinnett County Police were called to a Drowning Creek Road residence on Jan. 7 after Tye Hilmo, of 4158 Rocky Ledge Road in Snellville, refused to leave a party. According to the other partygoers, Hilmo "had a lot to drink and was being a problem."

The responding officer had encountered Hilmo earlier that evening after being dispatched to investigate a report of a bull that had escaped from its pasture. The officer found Hilmo trying to wrestle the bull by its horns and chasing the bull through the woods. When Hilmo was told to leave the bull alone, he reportedly replied, "I ain't going to get hurt, shut the [expletive deleted] up."

The arresting officer described Hilmo as argumentative. Hilmo allegedly demanded the names and badge numbers of all the officers at the scene and repeatedly used profanity. He was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with disorderly conduct.

Hilmo was transported to the Gwinnett County Detention Center. He was released two days later.

The pronounce things funny down hee-yah in Georgia. DeKalb county is "da cab", Cordele is cor de yul, Dahlonega is duhLONuhga, Senoia is seNOee, the list just goes on and on. The one that always gets me is Vidalia. It's pronounced VieDAYuh

Ummm..ya. Nice story there trooper. If your leg had become dislocated, unless you have a fake leg, you would be on the ground in agony. Not really up for fighting. Nice try tho.
