There's a Nintendo commercial from about 10 years or so for some sort of game where Wario and Dr. Mario fight over something.

Anyway, one of the two dudes in the commercial looks and sounds just like me. Eerily so, in fact.

1.79MHz MOS 6502-based CPU: ~0.9 MIPS
1GHz ARM Cortex A8-based CPU: ~2100 MIPS

Your phone is about 2500x as powerful as the NES was.

/usual disclaimers, it's meaningless to compare CPU designs created 35 years apart, etc.
