It's so sad what has happened to Antioch over the last half decade. As recently as 2005 or so, it was a wonderful place to live and raise a family. Then, the section 8'ers moved in en masse and completely turned the town into a crime and drug filled hell hole. Deer Valley high school used to be a very good school, now there are almost daily stories of the white kids being beaten or worse and having their money and/or clothes stolen. What used to be beautiful and peaceful community parks are now havens for drug dealers, and god help you if you decide to take your dog for a walk now.


It's very, very sad. My ex-girlfriend grew up there (actually went to school with Maurice Jones-Drew), and her entire family has had to move away because of the section 8'ers, and all the crime and hell they bring to any place they go to.

OK. They're into all of those now though. The post implied that they would move into new areas and I'm having trouble imagining an area of illegal activity that would be able to replace drugs in terms of profit and widespread demand.

Ending the drug war would remove most of the organized crime customer base and significant amounts of their profit, which can only make their strength go down.

I went to Disneyworld for my 16th birthday and all the way down a little kid kicked the back of my chair, screamed, threw peanuts and once threw his drink over the seat which drenched my father and me. When I confronted the mother her response was that he is just a kid, the thing was about 10. Disneyworld sucked all the rides were for 5 year olds and we got stuck in small world hell for 2 and a half hours which I still have nightmares about, but the Epcot center was excellent. At least I didn't get shot, but 40 people in a garage and the shooter or shooters couldn't make one kill shot, that is just sad.
