Surely it's a sign we spend entirely too much time together.

Playing 40+ minutes in an NBA game has a destructive toll on the body, not a constructive one, subby.

So having him do controlled exercises/activities for a few days to strengthen his recovering body makes perfect sense, in a way that throwing him out there in a live game would not.

These comments are obviously in reference to Airplane; but I don't quite get the connection.

On another note, this NBA season sucks donkey dorks as expected. The condensed season is even more of a slap in the face to fans than the lockout was. The players can barely run up and down the floor, let alone make baskets. Injuries are pervasive. I really think a team like OKC could win it all because 1) They're good; 2) They're theoretically young enough (especially their key players) to withstand the 4 games in 5 nights and back-to-back-to-backs--let alone the ridiculous travel schedules; and 3) They've been together long enough to not be affected as much by the lack of training camp/preseason/practice time.

Chicago's another team that could be in the finals.
