Droog8912: So much for the Harbaugh Bowl.

They need to rest. Too much hype. They can console each other on the phone tonight

At least for Williams, he lives in San Fran which isn't as murdertastic as Baltimore. (but then again he's a true goat over Billy).

Cundiff also has to fly home with Ray Lewis

degenerate-afro: I can't believe both Harbaugh brothers loss to special teams mess ups.

imokwiththis.jpg

Honestly though, both brothers & their teams had one hell of a good year, and I fully expect them both to be contenders next year as well. Nothing to be ashamed of in either case, IMO - both championship games were extremely close. Congrats all around.

big_pth: So it is official, the only people who will care about the Super Bowl (aside from gamblers) game will be the North East. Pats/Giants. Boston/NY. AGAIN. For Joy.

And that differs from nearly every sport every year how?

9beers: Patriots 31
Giants 24

In your dreams.

germ78: PluckYew: germ78: Captain Steroid: I won a math debate: Williams must be the most hated man in all of San Francisco right now.

/Will SF fans hate him more than Chicago fans hate Steve Bartman?

No. Never.

As a Cubs fan, I hate people who think I should hate Steve Bartman because Alex Gonzalez can't field a ground ball.

That fail was all on Bernie Mac for improvising during "Take Me Out to the Ball Game". Root, Root, Root for the CHAMPS!!

Look where Bernie Mac is now because of that.

It drives me crazy. Visiting team totally deflates the home team, and we hear maniacal cheers.

The Giants better farking win, or else we're in for a 57,000-word treatise on "this means Super Bowl XLII doesn't hurt anymore and we don't care about blowing the perfect season we don't don't won't!"

I live in Vegas, am not a gambler and will be watching the game. It's the Super Bowl, how can I not care for it?

/Then again, my guys lost to the Texans

Imagine, two teams lose because their special teams fark up at the wrong time.

I agree, John farked up the Ravens with bad coaching. Going on 4th rather than kicking it? Also he forgot he had a timeout so he could send the special teams into the field properly rather than sending in the kicker with just 7 secs left in the play clock

Pats should win, but gints D is pretty salty. My FFL team has life with 3 multipliers left. Gonna be a long two farking weeks until this is done.

He was the special teams coach too back in Philly.....
where he played with David Akers......
who had to suffer on the sidelines because of special team errors

Awesome game. Great fight in the Niners. That said, GO G-MEN!

Fark the Patriots.

nvmac: Well, I'm done. I might not watch the Super Bowl, I farking hate the Pats and right now feel pretty crappy about the *rematch* of the *elite* QBs. Maybe in two weeks, I'll feel better. At least good enough to share comments and fun with you nice folks. I wish both the Giants and Pats could lose, but then, someone has to win.

See ya later.

/What a shiatty way to end it

*hugs* I may have been rooting for the Giants in this game, but you and a lot of the other Niners fans on this board are such cool people that I feel kind of bad. :-/

I doubt it'll help any right now, but if it makes you feel any better at all, I'm almost certain SF will come back even stronger next year. Jim Harbaugh's one hell of a coach and there's a lot of talent for him to work with on that team, you know?

/as for this year, well...there's always the Puppy Bowl I guess, right?
