Came here to say this. What happened. Bigfoot was always the Hogan of Monster trucks, but then around 1990 Gravedigger was the glory hog. You rarely see Bigfoot anymore.

Back in 88', I traveled to several venues doing photography for a set of monster truck trading cards. In Myrtle Beach I shot an out of control truck totally wipe out three new cop cars. In Louisville I was hit in the leg with a piece of flying metal.

Good times.

My oldest had a blast, but, and this is the god's honest truth, when we got on the metro with other patrons, we were the only family not to be wearing camo in some way shape or form. It was kind of amazing; you would have thought we were going deer hunting or something. NTTAWWT.

That has to be the same one that was infront of Race Rock cafe in Orlando before they closed it down.

I can't imagine someone would make more than one of those.

They left the USHRA in 98... Which is a lot of lost exposure and promotion.

Bigfoot ceased running events for the USHRA's Monster Jam series in 1998 (due to a dispute involving Team Bigfoot's usage of video footage and pictures) and has not returned since. Bigfoot appeared frequently for USA Motorsports and Motorsports Entertainment Group until both of those companies were purchased by the USHRA's parent company at the time,

Went to my first Monster Jam yesterday (Sunday, Sun...oh you get it). It was actually pretty fun. Three of the trucks broke. But there was a motorcross show, quarter midget racers and atv races. Although I honestly doubt I would have gone if I had to pay for the tix myself.
