(Yahoo) Amusing Herman Cain to offer Gingrich advice on how to deal with his ex-wife. Which makes sense, because Cain's likely become a world class expert in dealing with angry spouses in the last month or so   (news.yahoo.com) divider line 43

Angry Spouses sounds like a good Angry Birds knockoff, except flinging them at a pig is how they got married in the first place.

This must another example of the Family Values we keep hearing about.

I guess true devotion for family is only for suckers. And of course impossible if you are gay even if you are better at it than these assholes.

I just had an image of a bride being flung from a slingshot. I love this place.

It's really amazing how Newt managed to get the crowd all cheering for his marital shenanigans. Just let anyone else with a (D) after their name mention "open marriage" or "blowjob" or anything other than "missionary position with the lights off" and that self same crowd would be sharpening up their pitchforks.

The victim mentality of the right wing in this country is something to behold.

Does the plan involve quicklime and an empty oil drum? Considering Newt's integrity, I would not be surprised.

Can you imagine the crowd reaction if someone had stood on that stage and said "I'd like the state to recognize my loving, committed and monogamous relationship with my same sex partner."?

PsyLord: Was his advice derived from a Pokemon episode/movie?

This would explain his "gotta catch 'em all" stance on women.

So have we determined officially that Newt is in an open marriage with Calista now? Cos that raises him up several levels in my book.

I don't like Gingrich, but IDK what his ex-wife is so angry about.
Wasn't she having an affair with Gingrich while he was still married to his first wife? (Did she know about the cancer?)

When Newt cheater on her, she got what she deserved.

What amazes me is that people are still willing to support him. He was vicious, greedy and self-important in the 80's and he's only gotten crazier and more senile since.

/the GOP is in real trouble if the best they can come up with is a loser like Gingrich

Them That's Got The Gold want to make O-fake look good so they can slide him back into office with comparative ease, so the Republican line-up has to contain the biggest bunch of buffoons ever. Mission accomplished!

There will be no one to vote for this year.

It's the Republicans who are tearing each other apart, they don't need the media or Obama's help.

"Party of Personal Responsibility", my ass. All they do is blame "liberals and the MSM" for everything.

I'm pretty sure that Cain's suggestion to "stick a pizza in her mouth and a dick in her ass" isn't the right solution.

Maybe; but since the alternative is a quote from Pokemon, it might be the best we get.

You know, the more I see of Newt's angry, bitter, sandy vag of an ex wife, the more I think it was a good idea to get the fark out of there. Not that Tiffany Diamonds Crazy-Eyes is a good idea, but she at least probably farks like a real doll. Certainly looks like one.

I had a likely once. It was a good likely. But as good as my likely was, it was nothing like Cain's likely.

Now I'm fine with the whole open marriage concept, I see relationships to be more complex than the 'I marry you, you get all validation that you need from me forever' paradigm. Problem is, EVERYONE has to agree, anyone has even the smallest issue with the 'open marriage' concept, it needs to go the way of the dodo...

My REAL issue is with Gingrich's hypocrisy. First, he was the leader of the anti-Clinton witch hunt, telling us that a man who cheated on his wife was not Presidential material, and should be drummed out of office, WHILE he was cheating on his farking wife! Second, he had absolutely NO PROBLEM dragging this out onto the national stage(Along with many others, to be fair), yet he gets offended when HIS situation is drug out onto the national stage. Third, he starts whining about the media and "negative coverage", but he was just fine with negative press when Clinton was the focus, and seems to be A-OK with issuing negative attack ads.

Now, Lizard-Brain is trying to deny all of this, but it has been a known fact for YEARS, well before this came out.

Wow, and then the asshat had THIS to say:
Newt when asked how he could be unfaithful and give a speech on family values: "It doesn't matter what I do," he answered. "People need to hear what I have to say. There's no one else who can say what I can say. It doesn't matter what I live." Link (new window)

Wow, and people REALLY want a 'Do as I say, not as I do.' bunghole in office?

fireclown: Back in the 90s, didn't we decide that marital stuff didn't matter?

No, we decided that making "family values" a political platform was BS and anyone pushing it would be made to pay for his hypocrisy.

Don't forget who was leading the charge against Clinton for lying about his affair with Lewinsky under oath. The rest of the nation outside of South Carolina hasn't.

That will be decided tonight. Newt is the only one saying they don't care right now.

Not to mention all his harping about Romney only paying 15% income tax. Newt is biatching that a rich white man ISN'T paying enough taxes? Am I in Bizzarro World?
