Wow, even creepier than advertised. Is technology really a good thing if it leads to this?

Yeah, uh, why does it feel like I'm standing in the room with them? Holy crap. That is creepy.

The Master is pleased.

I can't wait for the Master's wives' JCPenney lingerie orgy.

Torgo looks like Andy from Weeds.

Awesome!

John Reynolds, who played Torgo, was 25 when he made this but looks 45. Rough life I guess.

Always nice to see the Royal Shakespeare Acting Company tackling the other classics.

While I applaud subby for linking to the proper Manos in HD site, the problem is they haven't got a Vimeo account that allows for embedding the HD. Make sure you click through to Vimeo to see Torgo in all his (gulp) glory.

Does anyone else see Charlie Kelly in Torgo?

Honestly, I think the film looks better when each frame looks like someone's last known photograph.

They almost are. Didn't those two off themselves shortly after?

I don't know. Somehow it doesn't look right without silhouettes of Joel and the robots in front of it.

It's still bad, but it's a different kind of bad. Instead feeling like you're watching a 1980s UHF TV station after midnight, you feel like you're watching this shiatty movie your friend made and invited you to watch in his basement.

If you click around the website you'll find a local review of the movie from when it came out. Pretty funny stuff.

I've been leery of that since Bob Crane.

Director: Ok, John, give me a sexy smoldering but really creepy look.

Better pull it out of public domain before it gets too popular and is seized by the government.
