To be fair, it *is* a very well-written show, especially the first season. I scoffed, too, until Farkers told me it was created by the same people who did PowerPuff Girls & Foster's Home. Then I spent 3 hours watching MLP videos on YouTube, incredulous that I was doing so, but laughing all the same. It doesn't dumb-down, the characters are well fleshed-out, and the storylines aren't as preachy as you'd expect for an "edutational" show. It doesn't have Animaniacs-level adult appeal but it does come close.

And Bill Clinton is an honorary Brony, so there's that.

2CountyFairs: I'd ask you to name one game that you actually liked, but I've probably never heard of it.

The game is Dodeka Purii Densetsu THE HATCHERY REMIX, made by a developer so deep within the depths of Mt. Fuji that their name cannot be spoken in human tongue, for fear that the volcano will retaliate. No video of the game exists because there are so many bullets on the screen at any given time, that transposing those bullets into another medium or tangible format risks a chain reaction not unlike the creation of the universe. I am currently ranked 6th on THE HATCHERY REMIX leaderboards, having completed the game's first seven seconds on a single credit, and I am the only person to complete the first five seconds with a ship other than the Type D Can Opener. Call me a weeaboo if you want, but I am the most skilled Westerner playing THE HATCHERY REMIX that has not taken residence in Tokyo. And five days from now, my dream to live in Japan will be complete. Goodbye, FARK. Your web site was entertaining, but THE HATCHERY REMIX is even more entertaining. Long live Japan. Live Japan, forever.

Burr: He recommends Dark Souls over Skyrim...which is a good game, but to compare an Action RPG to an open world RPG just seems silly IMO.

One game is designed to punish the player for his mere existence on this planet. The other can be broken in a dozen different ways without much effort on the part of the player, whether you're stunlocking units, abusing the pathing, or so forth. I defer to the far-more-difficult-and-challenging game on principle. That's all that's necessary for me to say about it, lest the thread turn into a shiatstorm.

Lumbar Puncture: I know one of your hangups for Skyrim is the combat, you try the Kingdoms of Alamur(sp?) demo? I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds like that might smooth out some of the problems from the Elder Scrolls games.
