He was in prison for two months and outgrew his pants? Sounds like he was eating better in the joint.

Maybe it was Bruce Banner. He like his pants, "más stretchy."

My first thoughts, too. What the hell?

I had no pants, so I said nothing.

The former prisoner said he was able to find a ride to Trollhattan while wearing only his shirt, underwear and socks.

Really? Trollhattan? Are we sure this isn't a made up story?

Either that or the dude found out he needed growth hormone therapy and got treated.

Brooks was here (but his pants were elsewhere)

It's real. Check it out:

Trollhättan (Swedish pronunciation: [trɔlhɛtan]) is a city and the seat of Trollhättan Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden with 44,498 inhabitants in 2005.[1] It is located 75 km north of Sweden's second-largest city, Gothenburg.

Of course, ALL of that sounds like it's located in Middle Earth, so you tell me.

He found a ride to 4chan?

2012-01-20 01:50:06 AM
Damn. And here I thought when the Swedes released someone from prison they gave them a new suit and a Volvo.

2012-01-20 01:50:11 AM
Whatthefark: I've been to Trollhättan many times; depressing place.

Is that the new numbering system or someone failing in counting up to 30?

/Yes I know what's going on. Just being snarky.

We took a hard turn right in politics and society a few years back. Things are not better...

Did he outgrow his shoes too?

2012-01-20 02:02:11 AM
wait , he had 118$ and the prison wouldn't sell him their crappy pants for a 20$?!

2012-01-20 02:05:47 AM
I bet they were planning on picking him back up for indecent exposure..

West_Side_Charlie: Did he outgrow his shoes too?

Good thing, at least, that he didn't outgrow his underwear.

At least it probably isn't very cold in Trollhattan, Sweden in the middle of January.

2012-01-20 02:21:35 AM
When I was picked up for intoxication I was wearing just board shorts and shoes. My shoes (and cell phone) didn't make it to the lock-up. I seriously froze my ass off all night and when they released me the next morning I was in the middle of downtown wearing just board shorts; I had a hard time convincing a cab driver to give me a ride back home. Being locked up totally sucks balls, btw.

Ah, reminds me of the time that I was released from the joint in Sweden's Trollhatten Maximum Security Prison this last December, in my underwear, found a ride into town, bought some shoes and pants in 34"/34", and just kept on truckin'! Couldn't have done that in a free country like the United States, eh?

Donald Duck was arrested and imprisoned in Sweden?

Do you know the way to Mordor: Donald Duck was arrested and imprisoned in Sweden?

Donalds penis hangs out
There's no way he's wearing underwear.

Probably an alcoholic or meth head who never ate when he had his drugs.

You mean he just stood there? Nobody told him his brother died?

Similar situation: Released at 2am into the December cold (I think it was down to 6 degrees with the wind chill) without enough time to put the laces back in my shoes, no cab called (because they literally walked me down a hallway to the door and said "Go," lying to me about an officer parked outside who could call me a cab), I was without my cell (because, helpfully, THEY LEAVE IT IN YOUR CAR if you get arrested during a traffic stop - and wouldn't you know it, impound is only open during business hours), and left to walk through the courthouse district (are they ever NOT shiatty neighborhoods filled with gun/pawn shops and bail bondsmen?) for a few miles until I found a 7-11 where the clerk broke with company policy and let me use the phone to call a cab (he also let me hang out in the store until it arrived).

At least I had pants, though.

Sorry for my earlier post. I have trust issues. I can't put that word in the same sentence with prison guard.

If this was America he would have been immediately re-arrested and made to register as a sex offender for life.
