Zero Exponent: Some of the regulars here may remember Toby, the orange tabby who lives in the hospital I work at.

Toby is so darn handsome. I sure hope he gets a good home real soon.

Thanks, me too. This is not a good cat news week for me. My poor Oz is wearing the cone of shame until his injury heals, and he does not like it one bit.

Wednesday evening Suzy and I were out walking past the church. There were three little girls out playing in the rain (about 7ish years old). They started squeeling about how cute Suzy was and asked if they could pet her. I said yes and just as they rushed over to pet/hug/kiss her, Suzy squatted and started pooping. This did not, for some unknown reason, stop the girls. They circled Suzy and continued to love her up.

As strange as that may be (I for one stand way back when ANY animal poops) what made me laugh the most was the look on Suzy's face. From total shock to utter confusion in less than a second. I didn't get Suzy until she was 5 but I bet she has never had anyone love her up while she was pooping. This was probably a new experience for her.

Mr. Witch and I laughed all dang evening.

Suzy, not pooping.

Weeel good folk, may be able to leave in the Road Trip to Indpls in ~ half an hr, in hopes of beating the Predicted Freezing Rain to destination.
I'm certain I shoulda made more than mental notes, because my train of thought's derailing, leaving nothing on the trax.

Zero Exponentwho seeks a furr-ever home for Toby brought this in a while back. Wish we could oblige, but Winnipeg to Cincinnati would cost more than $100, either Canadian or US, & the present Feline Overlords would not appreciate an 11th resident.
That new e-mail may be the Driver leaving her place. C U Sunday! But not at US 30 Dragstrip!

Oh OK.
So it's a 1/16th mockup.
Probably to show to potential investors. Right?

I need to get those pics off the card....new camera...fiddling...trying new settings etc...fun, but intimidating at the same time!

Had to look twice at that pillow! Those are some awesome gifts! Lurv!

Couple of yrs ago my brother gave me a glass cat in santa suit ornament. It is so big I have it on a crook on the china cabinet at christmas time. Very nice, hand made etc...but I think you would need a 15 foot tree before it would look right! lol!

This was the hardest thing I've ever been involved with, next to my Father's illness and funeral. The cat shaped hole in my heart feels like it is about to burst.

I want to celebrate Barclay's life, and what he has meant to us. He was the most loyal cat and gave us almost 18 years of unconditional love. What more could we ask for? We've spent the last 2.5 months cherishing the time we had left. It was time to let him go, no more pain.

I may not be around much the weekend, but I know there will be hugs sent my way. Thanks to everyone in advance.

Hello all! It's been a while since I last post. The end of the year is always busy for me with the holidays and birthdays in my family. And just as I was about to go home for Christmas, my apartment flooded and my vacation was spent taking care of it. Thankfully, things are settled now, so I can share a few cat photos:

My sister's kitten, Aurora. All I know is I snapped and this is what came out.

Scooter hiding in a pillow case. This was the day after the apartment flooded and I had to transfer Graysie in it. The cats were shut into a closet for a few hours for their safety. He decided a closed closet wasn't safe enough for him.

I thought this was cute.
