The hilarious thing about the number of GOP debates that there have been is that the candidates aren't even really debating. They're just quipping and reaffirming their love of God and country. At the first sign of any question that clarifies their position on something or that tries to find out there opinion of a topic that hasn't yet been broached, they get furious and act affronted.

Did I miss the cross burning?

How has Romney not locked this up already? Christ, half a dozen people have already dropped out.

Clearly you've missed RON PAUL and his ramblings about our gold policy.

Well, this should be good. I sense a lot of GOP bickering and backstabbing tonight. I'm really rooting for a Santorum or Gingrich or Paul win in SC. Romney is truly the least offensive of the bunch, so I hope he comes out the nominee. But I don't want it to be an easy ride.

How dare you do exactly what we're here to do!

bulldg4life: How has Romney not locked this up already? Christ, half a dozen people have already dropped out.

He's actually polling evenly with Newt freaking Gingrich.

It says a lot about the sad, sad state of the Republican Party that Newt Gingrich might actually have a shot at the presidential nomination. Just... woo boy, did no one see that coming.

Wow a debate thread that isn't 1000 posts long by the time I see it. I might be able to follow along this time.

2012-01-19 08:07:52 PM
Ok RON PAUL, it's in the constitution that you show the christian, the rich guy, and Newton I-have-a-punch-me-face, all about what it takes to lose to Obama this Nov.

Mitt: "Hey Newt, how's your fam?"

2012-01-19 08:08:12 PM
Why do they always tell me about their big families? I don't care.

2012-01-19 08:08:29 PM
Newt can smell blood. He ought to be in rare form.

2012-01-19 08:08:34 PM
Everyone else brags about how many kids they have, Ron just wants to read us his CV.

2012-01-19 08:08:41 PM
Romney went with the Bachmann headcount.

I hope Gingrich gets the nomination. He'd get his ass destroyed by Obama.

That biatch...

2012-01-19 08:09:40 PM
NEWT ... NEWT ... NEWT

2012-01-19 08:09:48 PM
I'm so conflicted. Part of me wants anybody but Romney to win, just to ensure an Obama victory. Then again part of me wants Romney to win just on the freakish chance that one of the others might beat Obama.

2012-01-19 08:10:07 PM
Newt: The media is bad, not me and my practices.

2012-01-19 08:10:18 PM
I see Newt's taking the "asshole" route tonight, too.

2012-01-19 08:10:20 PM
I'm convinced that these debates serve no other purpose than to keep the dimwitted, thuggish, ADD-addled rightards in the audience whipped into a frenzy and occupied till the GOP convention.
i.huffpost.com

Letting the unisured die: "WWWWOOOOOOO!"
Gays in the Military: "BOO!"
Waterboarding: "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Throwing baby koalas into a woodchipper: "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"
Curbstomping on the heads of poor people: "WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOK OOK OOK OOK! AAAAAHH!!! AHHHHH!! AAAAAHHH!!"

2012-01-19 08:10:20 PM
It's YOUR FAULT, mainstream MSM media!

2012-01-19 08:10:21 PM
And Gingrich scores cheap audience points by being a dick to the moderators again.

2012-01-19 08:10:23 PM
Newt kinda just owned this CNN douche.

2012-01-19 08:10:24 PM
The people in that audience are farking retarded.

2012-01-19 08:10:34 PM
Just tuned in, what appalled him?

2012-01-19 08:10:53 PM
Fatty already dressing down the mod for having the nerve! to question him about his ex wife.

This crowd is awful.

2012-01-19 08:11:00 PM

2012-01-19 08:11:05 PM
Wow, that moderator looked like he crapped his pants.

LasersHurt: Just tuned in, what appalled him?

Oh, nevermind, he's appalled that reality makes him look bad.

LasersHurt: Just tuned in, what appalled him?

Bringing up his 2nd wife's ABC interview.

LasersHurt: Just tuned in, what appalled him?

People pointing out the things he has done in the past

quizzical: And Gingrich scores cheap audience points by being a dick to the moderators again.

Yep. He is biatching about the tactics he helped pioneer being used against him.

2012-01-19 08:11:30 PM
HOW DARE YOU HURT MY DAUGHTERS BY REMINDING THEM WHAT I DID

2012-01-19 08:11:36 PM
LasersHurt: Just tuned in, what appalled him?

Newt was asked about the accusation of an open marriage. Keep in mind, this is the guy that crucified Clinton for having an affair.

The All-Powerful Atheismo: The people in that audience are farking retarded.

reminds me of old episodes of married with children

The All-Powerful Atheismo: I'm so conflicted. Part of me wants anybody but Romney to win, just to ensure an Obama victory. Then again part of me wants Romney to win just on the freakish chance that one of the others might beat Obama.

I want RON PAUL to win the nomination.

a) It would put Obama in the position of having someone with any strengths at all opposite him and he'd get the damned earful on civil liberties that he so richly deserves,

b) It would expose how utterly crap RON PAUL is on every other subject and might finally put his stupid fanbase to rest.

2012-01-19 08:12:08 PM
Is Gingrich biatching about being asked questions that aren't convenient?

2012-01-19 08:12:18 PM
NEWT IS THE VICTIM!

2012-01-19 08:12:24 PM
The All-Powerful Atheismo: LasersHurt: Just tuned in, what appalled him?

People pointing out the things he has done in the past that is irrelevant to a Presidential debate

2012-01-19 08:13:01 PM
frothy looking tie, guess it got rough

2012-01-19 08:13:27 PM
Oh, the audience is in rare form tonight. Should be quite the spectator sport.

2012-01-19 08:13:27 PM
Jesus...pretty soon, Gingrich is just going to shout dog-whistle phrases.

"Welfare queens!"

"Elite media!"

"Brith cirtift whar?"

2012-01-19 08:13:32 PM
Sargun: Is Gingrich biatching about being asked questions that aren't convenient?

He was told there would be no questions, just BJs.
