She looked hot. I'm sure the major news outlets will have some sort of special on the accident.

I never knew who she was, but it kind of surprises me how people say how she's hot first, then tack on the 'rest in peace'.
Interesting how it's different between the genders and our reaction to death news.
When Heath Ledger died, it was about him being a good actor.

Considering this isn't the first major injury to happen on that particular half-pipe, I wonder if they will shut it down and try to figure out what was wrong with it.

sad... I guess. I never heard of her, or even of her accident, but I always find it somewhat peaceful when people die doing what they loved. For that, I envy them, maybe because I lack any drive or passion for anything. oh well.

At the very least she was doing something she loved, given by the reaction by others practicing on the same pipe.

Sarah Burke's two greatest loves in life were rupturing vertebral arteries and competing in medically induced comas. She died doing what she loved at age 29.

But...but...but...she was wearing a helmet! Aren't helmets supposed to protect you from everything...like falling 30 feet on to your head and/or neck?
Have helicopter parents been lying to us all this time?

He said, "She has a lovely face;
God in his mercy lend her grace,

Personally, I have no sympathy for people that die doing dangerous things like what she was doing. She knew the risks and chose to ignore them.
