The Shaxperiment is failing. Way too much cross-talk. It's all cross talk. At least when it was just Barkley clowning around, and Smith obliging, you'd still get
some
exposition in the highlights. They had a great formula, they're messing it up thinking more == better.
They could probably use Shaq somewhere, just not on that show.
//though it's early, maybe they'll adjust
//but it seems like no

Western Europe is metrosexuals and liberals who hate us, Eastern Europe is 1984 and conservatives who hate us.

If you just said the name Ricky Rubio to me and asked me what the nationality or heritage of the person with that name was, I would say Italian also. All this shows is Shaq doesn't know much about the backgrounds of the players in the NBA.

As someone who had Twolves -7 for the second half, that was a very enjoyable comeback.
So many stinker teams in the NBA this year, seems like every night you see at least 4 teams phone it in after halftime (the Wizards don't wait until half)

Yea, it's definitely a somewhat ambiguous latin language name, and guess what, Italian is latin descended, just like Spanish. No big deal.

If you're a casual fan then yeah, but Shaq is supposed to be a NBA Analyst on a national show. And Rubio has been in the news a lot the past few years, so he should've known a bit more about his background.
I've said this before, but Shaq is just not a good fit with that crew. He seems more suited to what Kenny Mayne does with Mayne Street. The skits and variety type topics and things of that nature.

Still, excusable or not, it's ignorance of where an NBA player comes from, not ignorance of geography.

Except it assumes half of Europe drinks/makes Jager and it labels Denmark as Belgium. The English are also not making Scotch

Damn that alcoholic for making a few mistakes! I would probably still be a passenger in that alcoholic's car. Seems rather high functioning.
