Yes, it hurts tourism so much that the Walt Disney Company shut their park down for the speech. Or did subby think Obama could take over private property for a speech against the owners will?

2012-01-19 12:06:52 PM
Actually they are open. I have a few friends that work there, and they are currently working, and people are in the park. They havent heard of the park closing. So, take that as you will.

I believe you. Since when is the president not allowed to be near citizens? They are all the time. The Secret Service is pretty damn good at vetting everything.

I know when he did a speech down here in a high school gym, anyone in the area could sign up for free tickets. They were picked randomly the day before.

A quick search would reveal this to be untrue. Just how trustworthy is investor.com if they can't get something this simple correct.

Well the important thing is that this story SEEMS like it could be true! Damn Obama and his hypothetical elitist and tyrannical ways.

They are closing Main Street for the duration of the speech, except for guests already there and approved for the audience. The rest of the park is open, and Main Street opens again after the speech.

Incredible lies that people probably believe.

The only people dumb enough to believe this are the ones who are desperate to find anything to hate him for that excuses the obvious reasons they hate him irrationally.

Have fun, remember, there are places in the park that serve booze. :)

They have to halt all tourism there for him to be seen encouraging more tourism, close the whole place down to tourists for much of the day while he's there and before. Even Disney employees are being barred.

If you're going to go to the trouble of lying sideways out your ass for no apparent reason you could at least make it worthwhile. Like maybe claim he stood up in the middle of the small world ride, whipped it out and pissed over the side of the boat. If you're going to go retard, you may as well go full retard.

What makes it an even better lie is that It's A Small World is currently closed (I think). I heard they were retooling it.

It's rare that I go anymore. I prefer Universal. Less kiddy. Better rides.

He also loves the greasy Koch from the sound of it. Good on this administration for fighting Keystone.

So much for the "both sides are bad" delusion.

Good lord, that article was written by an incredibly butt-hurt individual.

Not to mention Obama thinks there are 60 states. If you're going to continue to use that talking point 4 years later, you should be required to get the math right.

/If you need any advice about the Dining Plan, let me know. The first year they offered the plan for free in August 2006, our family of 4 had $1560 worth of free food; we MASTERED that shiat.

To be fair, both sides ARE pretty bad. I just happen to think one side is slightly worse.

That 'article' was an absolute piece of garbage. That it was on Inversors busisness daily is great, because now I know that website is full of total shiat like this. I am surprised the author made it through the entire piece without whining about Revrend Wright and Acorn and how since Obama shut down Disneyland Sarah Palin is automatically president.

Boy, you libs sure hate it when someone dares question the greatness of quote-unquote *air quotes* "The One" *air quotes* quote-unquote by telling lies about him.

Are you worried your hero can't take the heat? If Obama can't take people telling lies about him, is he really the man we want staring down the Soviets?

I could understand being pissed if they closed Tomorrow Land or Adventure Land. . . but Main Street U.S.A.?

Oh noes, I can't go shopping in one section of the park! Too bad I'm only spending one day at Disneyworld and there aren't four other parks (and three water parks) to go visit.

You know, your side has lost the debate when it has to resort to lies.

Even worse he closed the entire park so only his family can ride the rides. Then he ordered an airstrike and demolished the whole place so nobody else could have it.
