I hope so too. I'd open with one but I'm at work with no access to my photos, and besides, my dog always cowers in fear when I'm taking her picture. Maybe it's the flash or something, I dunno.

I got Suzy from a rescue group when she was about 5. The one thing about getting older dogs is no baby pictures. I bet Suzy was adorable. Prolly as adorable as Sammy :-)

Probably. She looks like a sweetie.
We got most of our dogs as grown ups.
This is Fred. He was "about a year old" when we got him. I think that's the pounds catch all phrase.
This is the first pic we saw of Fred.

I think that's EVERY pound's catch-all phrase. My "about a year old" Tabby/Siamese cat turned out to be a 5-yo feral. The "around 1 or 2 years old" German Shepherd turned out to be 6 or 7. At least the rescue where I got my Great Dane had all her papers, so I know exactly how old she is.

"Tennille arrived in Duluth last week from a shelter in Iowa with her brother - yes, he's named Captain - as part of a program called Rescue Waggin'."
I guess it's all good as long as he doesn't start telling hat jokes.

Sorry for the tears but I'm glad I brought back good memories. I was 4 when we got Duchess and 16 when she passed away so the vast majority of my childhood memories have her in them.
