so what is she going to say? we already know he is an adulterer, hypocritical cheat. He resigned amid a myriad of ethics violations.

Not a Gingrich supporter at all, in fact I find him a loathsome, odious little man. However, this is wildly inappropriate and I find the timing suspect. The fact that the man can't keep his dick in his pants is at the bottom of the list of reasons why he'd be an awful President.

No idea. He's already a famous world-class scumbag.

"But Newt is going to talk to the people of South Carolina about the future- about job creation, lower taxes, and about who can defeat Barack Obama by providing the sharpest contrast to his damaging, extreme liberalism."

Theoretically, the sharpest contrast to extreme liberalism is a fascist dictatorship.

Is that really what you want to say about your father, girls? Okay.

I know... informing people about a candidate during an election season? What nerve!

This is just a reminder to the electorate that if they nominate Gingrich, there will be a non-stop carousel of such interviews with all the people the has scorned over the years.

In realty, the difference between a right-wing dictatorship and a left-wing dictatorship is window dressing.

So his daughters are honest? Where the heck did they learn that?

She's going to tell the country how he lied to them, and to her, and to himself (but no one really cares about that last part).

And the campaign will spin it away, and the GOP will go on as usual.

As you say, most of us already know, and I doubt this is going to be very Inside Baseball beyond that. Unless she has recordings or photos, or the revelation is that Newt was converted by Jeremiah Wright's Catholic brother-in law, I doubt this will be anything like a sea change.

My point is that there's plenty to talk about without bringing up his sex life, and there are plenty of relevant figures from the 104th Congress that could discuss policy. I don't give a shiat about his past marriages.

Meh, couldn't happen to a nicer asshole. Also, it won't hurt his election chances...Romney is the nominee, we all know this.

Romney is a lucky bastard. He's been going down in flames all week. But he has yet another get out of jail free card, it seems.

That's something that's bothered me. How can a guy so unlikable have been such a successful politician as to become Speaker of the House? I mean, sure he's obnoxious and mean-spirited, but he doesn't even have superficial niceness or glad-handing, that I can tell.

Oh wait, Republicans/authoritarians love assholes. I forgot.

This is awesome. I'm getting the popcorn out for when this cancer survivor - dumped during her treatments - is drug through the mud. Rush is Newt's biggest supporter. This is an opportunity for an all-time low for the harmless little fuzzball.

I love this bit from that article:

Like Jon Huntsman who dropped out himself two days ago, Perry had fallen behind faux candidate Stephen Colbert, according to Public Policy Polling.

BAHAHAHAHA!!! Colbert steamrolls another one!

I think we have a new index to add to the political science literature - The Colbert Threshold. If you can't beat a comedian who isn't officially running, you should just get out immediately

I'm going to guess financial misdeeds, because we already know Gingrich has no morality at all.

2012-01-19 09:52:49 AM
From the Bill Bennet's right wing radio show this morning; said not by some random caller, but by the hos, slightly paraphrasedt:

"This interview with a candidates ex-wife is disgraceful. I get my news from a lot of sources, and ABC is frankly not usually meaningful. We should lead a boycott of these mainstream hacks. A candidates past is not an issue - the issues are the issue"

fast forward 15 seconds

"And why hasn't Obama released his school transcripts? Why didn't the mainstream media ever investigate Rev. Wright or his affilitations with the terrorist Bill Ayers? The liberal elte media dropped the ball on investigating his past in the last election."

If you have power, money and influence; why can't you get a good looking mistress/next wife?

If the French can do it why not the US?

sure. Let's emulate the French. We'll get ourselves a shorter work week, better and cheaper health coverage, cheaper education, and the same credit rating on our bonds. But everyone will be happier and healthier. I'm ready -- let's f'n do this.

Republicans such as yourself are obsessed with other peoples private lives. Your platform is based on telling other people what they can and cant do in the bedroom, who people can marry, or what they do with cells in their in body. Good luck with that.

I would completely agree if it weren't for his jihad with clinton/lewinsky in the 90's. His hypocrisy deserves to be highlighted, underscored and tattooed on his forehead.

I can't wait to hear the Gingrich campaign complain about how suspicious it is that we hear about all of these American athletes right before the Olympics. Where was the press earlier?

I'm kidding. There's no way that campaign is still relevant by the Olympics.

I think you can applaud things he says and still think he's a scumbag of the lowest order. Personally, I think a lot of the stuff he says is utter nonsense, and that he's a scumbag of the lowest order.
