Yeah, and it's primarily state officials. As a whole, Iran has a variety of individuals of varying political views, and there are many progressive, educated Iranians who think it's reprehensible what the state is doing.

I hope this woman can get asylum status somewhere because forcibly sending her back would be terrible.
