Ok, 2 things.
1. If you did watch this without knowledge of the last century, you'd think that the only things that happened were wars and disasters, where's the scientific, technical and medical breakthroughs?

Certainly flawed, and missing a lot of things I would have added (and a relatively few I would have subtracted), but this is definitely worth watching, bad subtitling or not.
A whole lot has happened in the last 100 years, arguably the most eventful 100 years of human history. To squeeze everything worthy of note into 10 minutes would have created an unwatchable series of very brief blips of footage.

: I hear ya, but Sept. 11 covered OBL, the Iranian revolution was touched on, and yes, tech advancements could have been covered, but that could have been a whole 10 minute piece in and of itself.
Certainly thought provoking. I wonder how many brilliant minds who might have changed the world in ways we can hardly imagine perished in all those senseless wars? Who knows where we would be today if those brilliant people had lived and been able to fulfill their potential? How many people would they have mentored and inspired, who took their discoveries forward and made even greater incremental progress?
Fark war.

I'm not saying that the video was made by aliens......but the video was made by aliens.
you can see the red record light reflect back at the camera from the space ships portal in the opening shot over baja.

Since it seems to be happening every year now, all we can say is that there will be SOME huge natural disaster in 2012. An earthquake, storm, who knows... but some country is going to get rocked this year by SOMETHING, it's only a matter of time.

It was pretty odd to see the 2008 recession mentioned, but absolutely zero about the Great Depression.
