People actually think this shiat is real. It would be funny if I wasn't dragged into watching it when I couldn't avoid it.

Can someone please explain to me what point Drew is making? He says he supports SOPA, despite historically being a friend of sites that are opposing it, then makes his site annoying to casual users, but hardcore users love it because they get to up their green count and it's something to do I guess. So he's actually gaining support with his core audience but driving away interest with casual users (me).
Is Drew just attention whoring? Is there some deep message I'm missing? I'm so confused.

My watching has been spotty for a while, but after crowning Country Alfred E. Newman last year, Idol no longer exists for me.

You mean there is another antenna TV-watcher out there?
I can't get PBS. : ( But I get CW, if I want to watch attractive young people doing things.

I would kill everyone I know and love and then myself rather than watch one minute of that show or any similar type of "reality" show.
The dumbing down of America and what we settle for as entertainment started with that shiat. And it's a damn shame.

And this is why Fox will never be considered a real network. If you don't have cable and live in the sticks, you ain't gettin' it.

Well they had Star Search in the 1980s which was pretty much the same thing only not as sensationalized. And it was on in the afternoon when you had to spend the day with your grandmother when you were out sick from school.

Whoever is Steven Tyler's handler needs to be cockpunched by Steven Tyler's brand new vagina. Seriously, if you told me that of Randy, J Lo and Steven - that Steven would be the most feminine of the bunch, I'd have believed you and shaken your hand for being such an astute mother farker.
J Lo is fine, you need a blind, incompetent, moron judge - but Steven is merely a pile of Maybeline with a handful of spit takes and 59 minutes of douchebag.

CSB Time:
I know that guy, his name is Reed Grimm and he plays in a band called Shoeless Revolution. This is his 5th audition and I believe he's in the running for the top 60 or whatever it is -- the band doesn't have any gigs in the next few months. Real cool guy, I play in a band as well and after this show we did together he was laying down a sick beatbox for some of the worst white rapping you've ever heard. He's a real talent, sings like an angel and destroys on the drums at the same time!

I enjoy the show. You get to see a few good singers, and some good performers, and occasionally, bith talents in the same person. I do grow weary of journeys and heartaches, and everyone thinking that wanting to win is important or unique. Adam Lambert, and others to a lesser degree, made a lot of middle America uncomfortable, and that's always fun to see. I always enjoy the thought that average folks with some talent can go from a regular job to making a living as a musician, even if they don't get rich. For the about the same net paycheck, I'd play a few hours in a bar rather than talk to people who hate me for being correct all day.
But after the auditions and Hollywood rounds, there's little interpersonal BS, and no one gets rewarded for being the biggest asshole, discounting judges of course.
Less theme nights, so we get to see the performers choose what they do best. No group sing, or quit adding chorus tracks and let them know they have to get it right or be embarrassed. Register to vote. One fan, one vote. Take comments from voters, share the snarkiest/best ones on air. It improves buy in from fans, and treats the contestants to the reality of celebrity. Haters gonna hate.
I like a melody, so sue me.
