I'm not sure what subby was trying to say, but it sounds like he thinks that the author was saying that people are sick of SOPA protests. Clearly subby did not read (or perhaps didn't understand) the article.The author is saying that the web is sick of groups like the MPAA trying to ramrod things like SOPA down everyones throats. That's why he points out all the other ridiculous things that they've petitioned for previously, and why he ends the article with:
"[Rupert Murdoch] has ... labeled Google a "piracy leader" and called warnings about risks of DNS censorship 'nonsense' because search engines block speech in some countries just fine.It looks like a healthy chunk of the Internet finally got fed up with this treatment. Good."
