My redlit submission I thought I would share:

Only one player from the greatest league in the world makes the 2011 European team of the year

/Drew is NOT greenlighting every link...

So UEFA.com's users, who you would assume would mostly be in Europe, voted for guys who played on the Continent? Shocking.

If Robin van Persie wasn't one of the 11 best players on the planet in 2011 I'll kiss your ass.

Hey subtard, the only reason Real loses is because Barca dives and cheats until half of Real's team is sent off and the other half are on yellow cards.

Also, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in CL finals and Copa finals against Barca, and did it again today.

Poooooooooyol ties it with a diving header off the corner kick.

Tarzan Puyol makes it even.

Way to stomp on Messi's hand after he goes down

Golazo from Abidal.

This game is weird.

You don't think most of the users for uefa.com come from Europe? Where then would they come from?

One Robin made it - Arjen Robben

I think there are better players on Bayern like Gomez, but the striker positions were taken by Messi and Ronaldo
/ I don't think either of them are listed as forwards

Pepe needs a slap.

Everywhere. They do promotions and games, and you see a lot of users who are located in one country, and their favorite team is in another (one of the CL clubs usually). I agree that it's mostly European, but it's a good mix from all over the world (and a good mix of Europe). 380k votes is also a large sample

Yes, but it's foolish to think that the majority don't come from Europe.

He's a fine player.

You just don't like the Premier League.

If you're actually going to fill it out like you would a team, then yes, Messi and Ronaldo deserve to be there, but if you just picked the 11 best, RvP would have be in there.

I'm sorry, but I believe that's the game strategy of EVERY GODDAMNED TEAM IN LA LIGA you outlined there. Not just Barca.

Also, anyone named Ronaldo who makes a living with soccer needs to be chemically castrated.

Such poor sportsmanship by Real in the second half it's ridiculous. Tripping, stepping on players, hitting, dangerous tackling... can't handle losing to Barca i guess.

Was there someone down below not shown on the espn replay, because Abidal looked offsides. Good game as always.

Since I'm mobile, I can't do the cross out and fix things for you, so I'll list the real reasons Real loses to Barca.

The only reason Real loses is because:

-Barca has several class players that play as a team as opposed to individual egos that had better chances at silverware had they not dropped everything and chased the headhunting money.

-Real players feel entitled to all wins so they'll get all emotional and dirty and legitimately get tossed off the pitch.

-Barca plays the most beautiful game on the planet right now.

-Barca has a Ballon D'Or winner again as opposed to the wannabe who's last achievement was graduating top of his class at the Greg Loughenis (sp) Academy.

-They don't deserve it based on the way they treated the last Copa del Rey.

And the number one reason Real will lose is........Barca will score more goals.
