he didn't say he was going to vote against it. Just that he's taking his name off as a sponsor.

John Kerry still won't commit.

In fact, his weasily little intern told me that it was enough that he didn't add his name to the sponsoring of the bill, like that was some sort of prize.

My guy at Scott Brown's office told the senator would "consider" adding his name to Senator Wyden's fillibuster.

I hope this is a good lesson for everybody. When we get together, get organized, and lobby the hell out of lawmakers, we can function effectively as an incredibly powerful, multinational special interest in our own right. With our own media platforms, communication networks, business interests, fundraising mechanisms, non-profits and (increasingly) our own political organizations, the economic and political reach of the internet ain't nothin' to fark with.

I'm absolutely certain the IP holders in favour of censorship will count on this movement to fall apart because of our disparate interests and disorganized nature, and that's a real concern, but even at a relatively unorganized level we've had a great deal of success. That's something to build on.

Brilliant, asshole. So, when all these people were trying to use words to get you to see the farking point, that didn't sink in? Not even a little?
