Shunsuke Nakamura is a free kick LEGEND. I could sit back and watch him and Juninho practice free kicks all day.

The only thing I don't understand about Japanese television is the almost absolute insistence that every live program include picture-in-picture of some audience members. Are they VIP guests? Are they just regular folks in the studio? Do I take my cues on how to react from them?

I have always thought that the typical Japanese TV viewer is solitary, but would really prefer to be watching with someone else. Those little insets are somehow comforting in providing a bit of company.
