1. Your comic is a SOPA Violation for the likeness of that guy from SAW.
2. I don't get it. I am either not up on viking jokes or not smart enough.
3. I think your greenlight has more to do with watching your comic die like a rocket launched at the sun. And by that I mean that once it is launched, nobody is going to look at it for fear of damage to their eyes, but they assume it will die horribly.

Even after backing up to the first page of the Comic... not funny.

Maybe I just don't get it.

Headso: I tried to read it from the beginning and I still don't get it..

I know this much:

Baldr was a Norse god. As I recall it, Loki somehow tricked someone else into killing him even though he was supposedly invincible. How, why, or what this has to do with the guy from Saw I don't know. And I don't know enough about Norse mythology to get the joke at the end about him dressing up like one of the giants.

Maybe it's way funnier if you wear bifocals, speak with a heavy Nordic accent and smell like musty books.

Looking at other parts, I think the comic in general has the potential to be enjoyable.

...But yeah, this is one of the worst possible times to go around throwing it at a new audience.

Okay, so,

1. Props on outing yourself, that takes balls

2. What's the got-dang joke? I mean, I know who Baldr is, and I know Loki got him killed somehow and I know Odin sent him off on a ship funeral, but you completely lost me me from there and I don't know enough about Norse mythology beyond any of that to have any idea what's going on (as would be expected of someone who only knows about Baldr because he looked him up while trying to figure out the history of the name behind the computer game "Baldur's Gate").

And I don't get the bowl joke at the beginning either.

If you really want a joke-dissection, I can do it. It's not a very complicated joke, and most of the information is actually there, but I know the mythology behind it.

The bowl joke is real Norse Mythology. Loki is punished for all the suffering he caused by being tied under the serpent while venom drips on him. His wife, something of a Tammy Wynette fan, stands there for centuries with a bowl, so he only has to actually deal with the pain when she goes to empty it. So the start of the thread is a POV comic.

The joke about the Balder thing is that Loki not only set Balder up to be murdered but had (the saw-like figure thought) paid off a giantess to screw up his funeral. But in fact, Loki being Loki (he was a shapeshifter, and one of his epithets was Loki Mare's-mother. Think about that a minute.) had actually just dressed up as a giantess. So even the saw-like figure is shocked again at how weird Loki is.

this comic makes me want sopa to pass so they can censor it
