Honestly, cant the argument be made, that she should have seen this coming? I mean. Its like marrying a midget and then citing the fact that hes short in the divorce proceedings.

I'd imagine it is prime time for him to find a lawyer. Makes me wonder what happened to make her take the eraser to the marriage and hop on the bus. Perhaps the sweetness was gone from their lives. Maybe she wouldn't go to the refrigerator and get him a beer or night train when he asked for one (you just know he's not drinking the juice.) Regardless, she's nothing more than a galloping ghost at this point, moving them crazy legs of hers and getting the hell away from the freak.

Deion was just filthy. He had to actively try to get people to throw his way.

Not to mention that (when he played for the Cowboys) he'd lock down a receiver on 3rd down, go back and take the punt, and then line up at WR and catch a ball over the middle.

Whatever. Certainly not a complete player, and not consistently statistically spectacular. Know why? Because it was discovered that you just couldn't safely throw on him, so from his second year to about his 10th year in the NFL, opposing QBs often didn't bother. Nobody ever did pass coverage any better, although there are certainly a couple of others who have been equally good, and he was a pretty good return man. As a football player, as qualified as most of the others with a lump of bronze in Canton. As a human being, as a media personality? It's only a slight exaggeration to suggest that he should be killed.

I think it's still in the DSM, although IIRC, there was some talk of deleting it as a separate category and lumping it together with sociopathy.

I just don't understand why Deion is in the Hall of Fame while Tim Brown isn't. Equal caliber player. Did multiple roles very well. Not a hot dog. And stastically spectacular(slightly ahead, behind, or equal to Rice and Carter in most major categories)

John Mackie essentially made possible the invention of the TE position as presently played. He didn't get in until his final year of eligibility. The HOF selection system makes, if possible, even less sense than the Pro Bowl selection system.

Apparently you started smoking crack halfway through the last sentence and came back and finished the bold part. Neat trick, and your ability to type so well while so stoned is admirable.

Sure, the vast majority of opposition pass plays were to the other side of the field, but 90% of opposition run plays were aimed directly at where Sanders was supposed to be. Not sure what kind of real value that is.

/also, he SUCKED MAJOR DONKEY BALLS in D.C.

I don't understand, are you implying that Deion Sanders did not play CB and WR in 1996 for the Dallas Cowboys, catching 36 passes for 475 yards and 1 touchdown?

But yeah, he was a poor tackler.

The year he played for the 49ers, they almost entirely shut down the pass, and went to the Super Bowl. Then he left for Dallas. There was a drop off in SF, and Dallas was in the Super Bowl. The guy made a definite difference. If your LBs are any good, the CB shouldn't be being run at, because the LB has blown the runner up before he's made the second level. Run support is icing on the cake. It's not the primary reason you pay a CB.

While the Cowboys did win the Super Bowl in '95, the 49ers got old and Carmine Policy really didn't understand the implications of what he was trying to do. Policy's mismangement and Debartolo's guilty plea sunk the 49ers, until this year.

Snyder did his usual, and overpaid for a big name with skills that had begun to erode. With all the risks you take in that game, and how much pain you'll be in for the rest of your life from having played it at the NFL level, if somebody wants to hand you a big pile of cash because they're stupid, you'll smile and take it, if there's any way you think you can pass the physical.

The 49ers didn't get so old and farked by the salary cap that they fell off the map until '99. The slippage in the defense in '95 wasn't a 2011 Indianapolis-style catastrophe, but the guy who replaced Deon Sanders wasn't as good, and neither was the overall defense. Coincidentally, they don't get to the Stupor Bowl the year after he leaves, and Dallas, where Deon went, does. It was the only major change to either team. Very suggestive.
