(CNN) Scary "Smoking object" thrown at White House during protest while Obamas were mere blocks away. It was an OWS protest, though, so let's not make any fast judgments or assumptions. Poor little scamp probably just wants to be loved   (cnn.com) divider line 57

Yes, let's not make any snap judgments except for the one in the snarky headline.

Witty headline, cocksucker, you should be proud of yourself.

Had to be a plant, subby.

OWS is about love.

Non-consensual love with 11 year olds, but love just the same.

In perfect CNN OMFG! style, they are assuming that it was an Occupy protester. Anyone who has spent any time in DC knows that the capital and the White House are continually surrounded by protesters. People protest anything and everything at the White House. Most of the protests are ridiculous and most of the protesters are bat shiat crazy.

A smoke bomb. Clearly we must stop at nothing to see this dangerous villain brought to justice.

/He must have been a liberal because he stood in a crowd of OWSers.

What a smoking object at an OWS protest might look like.

2012-01-18 11:04:53 AM
So was it an object which was emitting smoke, an object used to engage in smoking, or both? For all we know, someone probably just flicked their joint over the fence when they saw a cop approaching.

2012-01-18 11:05:31 AM
The president and his wife were not at home; they were celebrating the first lady's birthday at a restaurant a few blocks away.

Come on, Mr. President. Breakfast in bed, duh.

What an incredibly useless article...

Not that I expect this will stop the Fox News shills from using it to condemn everybody who doesn't bow down in awe every time they see a Koch...

/ b-b-b-but a bunch of old people who only got riled up because Rush Limbaugh told them to didn't throw any non-specific objects in the general direction of the white house

2012-01-18 11:07:12 AM
It's probably a cigarette butt that Barack won't admit to smoking. Besides, he wasn't even there. He had to go the the bathroom. (But this one had those annoying smoke detectors. You know the ones.)

2012-01-18 11:07:54 AM
Oh and according to Fox this was probably a false flag attack.

For all we know it was a cigarette butt that Fartbama got rid of so that his angry black wife wouldn't flip out on him and make him sleep on the couch.

And here we have more evidence that in addition to "smart" and "funny" there needs to be a "full-retard" button added to FARK. Of all the aspects you could have attacked OWS I dunno why you pulled something else that doesn't even begin to make sense or have anything at all to do with them. I actually find it more disturbing that you passed all hippy stereotypes and went straight to kid touching.

I want to know how the Teahadists are gonna spin this. Will their hatred of OWS override their hatred of Obama?

They had a case of a young girl (to be honest I can't remember if she was 11 or 13 if it matters) that was repeatedly sexually assaulted in NYC at the protest. Drugged and pimped out. But, that's no big deal I guess, considering all the good things they accomplished.

If you can throw something from the fence and have it actually get anywhere near the White House, MLB arbitration starts at the end of the week. I suggest you seek an agent.

I was thinking the same thing. He lives in the White House, which has a whole staff of world-cass chefs, butlers, wine stewards, etc. and beautiful dining rooms. Why on earth would he take her to a restaurant? He could have done a nice BinB and had a bootay call to boot. And all before the national security briefing.

I remember her from my visit back in 2006, but I haven't heard anything else about her.

OWS has always promoted violence, so this is no surprise.

They are just starting to realize that politicians have been a big part of the problem.

At the demonstration in front of the White House, protesters tied "wish notes" in the shape of hearts along a fence.

Probably wouldn't make any assumptions considering this. One object thrown towards the White House while people are tying hearts with notes on them to a fence.

Someone OD'd on heroin behind the wheel of his car yesterday. People who drive cars are all about pleasure. Heroin-induced pleasure.

Hey if there's one thing I've learned from the Fark Politics tab it's that if one person acts like a jackass in a crowd the whole crowd is guilty. If one person rapes someone at an OWS event every OWS attendee is a rapist and condones rape. If one person has a racist sign at a Tea Party rally every attendee is a racist and condones racism.

And any challenge to the above will be met with cries from both sides about everyone knowing one generalization is absolutely true but the other is completely false.
