That's not even the worst thing I read, when I picked this up on the ESPN link. That article shows that the Tigers brought back Gerald Laird.

When I heard this news I threw a chair through a brick wall. My guess is that DD either goes after Pena, or moves Delmonjello to DH and greatly up his pursuit of Cespedes.

My girl and I both had a few choice curse words for this... can't believe we lost out on such a talented hitter for the whole season. I hope that Cespedes does find his way to the frozen tundra of Comerica... if I get this job, I'll be able to watch him at every home game this season.

Ordonez loves playing in Detroit. Grab him for one more year to DH. When he's healthy, he can still hit.

V-Mart could be back in August if he gets the surgery soon. You can recover from an ACL in six months, especially with the treatments and physical therapy he'll be getting.

..and on Monday I heard a replay on Fantasy Sports (satellite radio) where some experts league just did a draft this past weekend out in Vegas...my first thought was "why draft so damn early, a lot can change between now and the start of the season"..
Here's a perfect example. Also, someone took V Mart as the first catcher taken overall I believe (figuring C and DH position).. well "experts" .. here ya go.. stop having drafts in farking January!

/no idea why super early drafts in leagues I am not part of really bothers me, but it does.
