Yeah, now that you mention it Subby, I seem to remember another occurrence like this a few years ago. But that was in a hospital in New Mexico, if I recall correctly. I wonder if the cases are related?

In an image made from WABC-TV video a baby is shown in a hospital in New York after being born on a PATH commuter train to New York Monday Jan. 16, 2011. The parents declined to give their names. Photo: WABC-TV / AP

The 31-year-old woman, Rabita Sarkar, of Harrison, N.J., said she had started feeling contraction-like pains...

With guidance from another woman on the train, her husband, identified in published reports as Aditya Saurabh,

Babies are born on the PATH, but babies are made when you ride the SLUT.

Talking on the train is unforgivable.

I'd be willing to bet folding money that their HMO is going to charge them delivery room fees anyway.

It's too late, they didn't make it out of New Jersey.

They should have switched the train to a siding in India or some other third-world country. Why is this baby an American citizen?

Meanwhile in Japan, you're more likely to see a little head coming in.

The worst part was, she wasn't pregnant.

It doesn't say anywhere in the article that the parents are not American citizen. I respectfully ask, why did you assume that this baby does not deserve citizenship? Do you have any degree of knowledge that may illuminate more on this subject you brought up?

you should have it so good, you lily-livered twatwaffle. the garden state offers more culture, lifestyle and diversification than most states across america. but you keep on being original, henny youngman.

Must be a NJ kid. Looked like the body hair was already started.

The couple declined to reveal the boy's name or due date.

Read: the baby was born two days early, and these idiots have no clue what the phrase "full term" means.

I take the PATH into NYC often. It's a loud, obnoxious ride. It's relatively clean if you relate it to other NYC-metro modes of transportation, but for delivering a baby, not so much.

I'm also questioning why these people took the PATH. If they got on in Harrison to go to midtown Manhattan they would have had to change trains at Journal Square - a dank dungeon - and then ride into the city. It's slow with a lot of stops. I don't see why they just didn't drive over to Newark Penn Station (about five minutes away) to take the NJ Transit to midtown. That would have been two stops (including Secaucus), and faster, and cleaner. NJ Transit is no great shakes of a train system but way better than the freakin' PATH. *SHUDDER*

Anyway, congrats to the new family.

/And thus concludes your NYC metro transit lesson for the day.

That's bad timing. PATH stations don't have garbage cans to ditch the baby.

New Jersey has anchor babies now?

"Well, my Mother gave birth to me on the A train so technically I'm a born New Yorker."

Good thing this didn't happen on an airplane or they would have been charged $500 for excess baggage.

Awkward: Wife has surprise baby on train.

Extra Awkward: You know it isn't yours.

Super Awkward: Everyone on the train starts to spontaneously sing "Having my Baby", as sung by Paul Anka.

Anchor Baby!!!!

If they got on the train in Hoboken, more likely than not, the kid would've been born with a Yuengling in its hand.

Wife- Honey, look under my dress and see if something's coming out.

Me- Ohhh no. I'm not falling for that trick again!
