Heh... Love it.

It's got everything it needs to get the message across to the target audience.

Less is more when it comes to effective advertising, in my opinion.

Initially, I was thinking it might need a web address or a QR code if it's running as a print ad, but I think it works without it, too. Those who know the show get it immediately, and those who aren't familiar with it, may do a little digging to figure out what the ad is about, which is good, too.

I caught up on Mad Men a few months back. Just knocked out the entire series on Netflix. That's how I watch most of my TV, but in its case I'll be watching it live when it comes back.

Our Art Director hung up a huge "Keep it Simple, Stupid" banner in the studio where the interns work. I swear some of them are time travelers from the 14th Century with the amount of Horror Vacui some of these kids bring in with them.

Meanwhile, over in film school I'd see a lot of lesser students pushing minimalism aesthetics so far that their films where devoid of any content. You subtract too much, and you might just find that you have nothing.

THIS! Slashing 250K per episode is the reason we got stuck with extended soap-opera crap this year. We all got bamboozled by the opening scene featuring 200 zombies into thinking that they would actually be going bigger.
