Say what you will about the movie itself but this is one of my favorites.

The falling man in a suit has been a symbol for Mad Men since the beginning - it's the centerpiece of the opening credits - and it's been said by the show's creators that part of the inspiration was the "falling man" photo from 9/11.

So you're offended 5 years too late.

Isn't the image just a still from the opening sequence? Which they've used for the past four years without incident?

That's what I keyed in on as well. I was thinking "what's the symbolism behind the bird's beak sticking out of that thing?" I didn't even see the Vader shadow until long after that.

Same here. Last night I was staring and saw a dragon, two Chinese opera characters, an old woman, an alien ala Geiger, Patrick the Starfish, and a werewolf.

I was going to say a duckie and a horsie, but I changed my mind.

Wow. 1960s era Peanuts. I'm impressed.

This is in response to DanZero and every other farker that keeps posting that unflattering picture of Christina Hendricks. Clearly in that picture she is bending over in a way that obscures her waist (i.e. the very thing that gives her that hourglass shape). So here's a picture of her standing up straight:

The only she comes across as sexy is because she's got the right shape in all her performances and public appearances.

And the only reason she has the right shape is because she wears a frikkin bodyshaper undergarment made of kevlar and steel wires.

And just how old is that picture? Four years? Five? Older?

Guess what: all women age. When most curvy women age, they get fat. Hendricks is aging and getting fat. You may as well be posting pictures of a young Kirstie Alley with your argument.

In that case, post a picture of her standing straight up to make your point about how "fat" she is. Not one where she's bending over and obscuring her own waist.
