Nothing I read in the article makes these people seem like "radicals".

Nothing in that article explains why TFA is using the term "radical". Then again, the minaret ban made it clear that when it comes to bigotry, the Swiss make much of the US right wing look like amateurs.

They moved them about 100m to a sloped, grassy open-air "Bear Park" rather than the pit. It's right by the river (and a small bit of the river is diverted into the park for them to swim in if they wish).

TFA: The president of the Council, Nicolas Blancho, confirmed his fundraising activities in Kuwait and Qatar to newspapers SonntagsZeitung and Le Matin Dimanche on Sunday, although he said the organisation has not received any donations yet.

So let's see here:

1. No actual reasons in TFA as to why they are "radical."
2. As of now, there is no funding for the mosque. It's essentially a pipe dream at this point.

WHAT A STORY!

Ahh....ze Swiss!

Too cowardly to fight Hitler, they threatened to destroy their own infrastructure if invaded. Hitler knew he needed at least one friendly country in Europe to launder the money used to finance the Nazi war machine. Those nice fellows the Swiss also took custody of confiscated Jewish gold and hard currency and agreed to not accept Jewish refugees. They gave them a free ride to the border and turned them over to SS troops.
