Why do we care? It's a good thing the drone crashed. Iran now knows that not only can they not hope to compete, they can't even fathom how to build something so sophisticated. It's got to be crushing to know that you have the mother lode right in your hands but you don't have a clue what it is. The Soviets felt the same way when they stole our plans and shiat themselves when they realized how far behind they were. That's what won the Cold War, we simply wrecked their economy due to their attempts to keep up.

Keep it as a token of how screwed you really are, Iran. And thanks for acting like you have a chance in a shooting war, we needed the laugh.

Not that I have any good will toward Iran or anything, but seriously, why would we expect them to give us back a drone? Isn't that kind of the risk of using a drone, that it might get captured? If Cuba had launched a drone over the US and we captured it wouldn't we just laugh if they asked for it back? Or am I missing something here?

Once all Iran's boats and planes are in pieces, then leave them alone. No need to Nation Build or whatever it is that Democrats like to do whenever they start wars.

We really can't bomb or invade them, and they really can't stop the strait, unless one side or the other screws up somehow. We're better off sending toy models to each other.
