Sadly the web browser on my ps3 sucks compared to my flash 10.3 enabled android, and by games, I mean porn. So I will not be throwing my smart phone in the toilet thank you very much.

Data plans are not cheap, you stupid article, nor are mobile devices.

What do you expect from a reporter named after a solidified dairy product?

It's really nice now having installed cyganmod on my Optimus V, so now my son can tether his iPod touch to my wireless on long car trips.

I guess $500 a year is cheap to some people (say nothing of additional costs). For some of us that will pay a month's mortgage.

Do you not have any phone at all? My land line cost more than that.

I have one ancient phone that makes calls and receives texts. I do not have a text plan.

It doesn't void my warranty, derpmitter. Hell, if I lose the phone then obviously there's no phone to return and even that's covered under warranty. Lose it, drop it, smash it, put it in the washing machine... doesn't matter... phone doesn't work = new phone. No questions asked.

/Dropped my original DroidX.

//Got a brand new DroidX2 shipped to me in two days.

///Minus a $100.00 deductible.

////Works for me.

Most times water damage will void the warranty. What you're describing sounds more like insurance, which will cover any damn thing that happens to it.
